The Pussycat Dolls released their third single from their album 'Doll Domination', this time featuring Missy Elliot and I think it's great. The song it's called 'Whatcha Think About That' and again, the vocals are splendid and it's a good song to hum and dance along. I saw this performed live not long ago in their UK tour and it was amazing. This girls sure know how through a live show and can carry it over. They all sang great live and it was a magnific show. El tema se llama 'Wathca Think About That' y de nuevo las voces son esplendidas y es una cancion muy bailable y que se pega. Vi esta cancion en directo como parte de su tour en el Reino Unido y me parecio una maravilla. Beyonce has just released her new two singles out of her latest album 'I Am... Sasha Fierce'. Again she is releasing a slow pop song, 'Halo', and a more upbeat RnB song, 'Diva'. 'Halo' sounds very good, although I'm not sure if 'Diva' will have the same success as 'Single Ladies' had previously. It has a great hook, but not sure if either the lyrics or the dancing will make the usual Beyonce cut of quality. On the case of 'Halo' all seem to click together, so we are on front of another potential number 1 in the charts. Let's see what happens, as I wasn't all in for 'Single Ladies' and then it grew on me very much. Judge for yourselves.
Beyonce acaba de sacar al mercado sus dos nuevos singles de su ultimo trabajo de estudio 'I Am... Sasha Fierce'. De nuevo nos encontramos delante de una cancion pop mas bien al estilo balada, 'Halo', y otra mas movida al estilo RnB, 'Diva'. 'Halo' suena muy bien, pero no se si 'Diva' tendra el mismo exito que tuvo 'Single Ladies'. Tiene sonidos y voces de fondo muy bueno que enganchan, pero no se si la letra y el baile en el video llegan a la calidad habitual a la que nos tiene acostumbrados Beyonce. En el caso de 'Halo' todo parece encajar perfectamente, asi que quien sabe si estamos delante de un nuevo numero 1 en las listas de exitos. Veremos que pasa, porque yo no estaba totalmente convencido de 'Single Ladies' y ahora me encanta. Juzgad vosotros mismos.
The Pussycat Dolls released their second single 'I Hate This Part' from their already successful second album 'Doll Domination'. Not only is this song better than their first single in my opinion (and lots of people), the remix is absolutely fantastic too. Moto Blanco was in charge of remixing this great mid tempo ballad about a relationship in it's last moments of existence and it was some fine work. The vocals from this song are one of the best from Ms. Nicole Scherziner and the rest of the band. I cannot wait for them to start their UK Tour this month. Check it out, I'm sure you will like it.
Las Pussycat Dolls han sacado al mercado su segundo single 'I Hate This Part' de su ya exitoso segundo album 'Doll Domination'. No solo es esta cancion mejor que su primer single en mi opinion (y la de otra mucha gente), el remix tambien es absolutamente fantastico. Moto Blanco fue el encargado de remixar esta gran balada mid tempo, que habla de una relacion en sus ultimos momentos de existencia, y han hecho un trabajo de fantastica calidad. Las voces de la Srta. Nicole Scherzinger y del resto del grupo son de lo mejor que han hecho hasta la fecha. No puedo esperar a que llegue su UK Tour a Londres a finales de este mes. Ved los videos, estoy seguro de que os gustaran.

Kings Of Leon released their second single 'Use Somebody' from their album 'Only By The Night', with nearly as much success as their first one. For now it's on the top 10 in the UK Charts, which doesn't suprise me considering the quality of their music and vocals. Have a look. They are one of my favourite rock bands at the moment, even if I didn't pay that much attention to them in the past. The album is very recommendable too.
Kings Of Leon han sacado al mercado su segundo sencillo 'Use Somebody' de su ultimo trabajo de estudio 'Only By The Night', casi con tanto exito como su primer sencillo. Por el momento estan en el top 10 del ranking de exitos del Reino Unido, cosa que no me sorprende nada si tomamos en cuenta la calidad de su musica y voces. Por ahora son una de mis bandas de rock favoritas del momento, aunque no les hubiera hecho demasiado caso en anteriores ocasiones. El disco entero es de lo mas recomendable.
After a few years of rather low profile and musical silence, more than anything due to her involvement in a car accident scandal than anything else, Brandy has released her latest album 'Human'. I haven't had a chance to listen to it in full yet, but I thought it was worth sharing these two videos of her latest single releases in the US. They are very nice and especially 'Right Here (Departed)' is quite touching. I hope you like them.
Despues de unos cuantos años de silencio musical y estar alejada del ojo publico, mas que nada despues de estar imbolucrada en un escandalo sobre un accidente de coche, Brandy ha vuelto con su nuevo album 'Human'. Aun no he tenido oportunidad de excuchar el disco entero, pero me gustaria compartir estos dos video que he encontrado de los dos sencillos que ha sacado al mercado en USA. Especialmente 'Right Here (Departed)' toca bastante la fibra sensible. Espero que os gusten.
Alesha Dixon, former one third of UK girl band Mis-Teeq and last year's Strictly Come Dancing winner, released not long ago her new solo album 'The Alesha Show'. I don't say her first solo album as this is not the case. She previously recorded another album, 'Fired Up', that contained her two fairly succesful singles 'Knockdown' and 'Lipstick', the the album itself never saw the light for some reason and was shelved without release inthe UK. I had the chance now to listen to both of those and I can say that they are both very good albums. It's a shame 'Fired Up' was never released as it could have been a smashing success for Alesha. Fortunately, 'The Alesha Show' is a very solid pop collection of sounds, with great upbeat and ballad songs, so this is a good chance to redeem herself and show the record company what mistake they did pulling the plug on the previous album. The first single for the present album is 'The Boy Does Nothing'. Maybe somehow slightly strange lyrics, but it becomes really catchy and the video is very much on the lines of her previous success in the dancing arena. Judge for yourselves, but I think she has rightfully earned the nickname of 'british response to Beyonce'.
Alesha Dixon, ex parte del grupo femenino Mis-teeq y ganadora de la original inglesa del programa 'Mira Quien Baila', saco al mercado no hace mucho su ultimo trabajo de estudio en solitario al mercado llamado 'The Alesha Show'. Y digo su ultimo, porque en este caso no es el primero. Alesha grabo hace un par de años otro album llamado 'Fired Up', del cual saco al mercado con bastante exito los sencillos 'Knockdown' y 'Lipstick', pero por algun motivo, la compañia discografica decidio no sacar el disco al mercado. Afortunadamanete para Alesha, aqui tiene su seguna oportunidad gracias a la popularidad que gano este pasado año, entre otras cosas, por ganar el concurso de baile votado por el publico del Reino Unido. Su primer single del presente album se llama 'The Boy Does Nothing'. La letra de la cancion es un poco peculiar, pero se convierte en una cancion muy pegadiza y con un fantastico ritmo, el video muy inspirado en la pista de baile de salon. juzgad por vosotros mismos los videos presente y pasados y vereis como la discografica se da cuenta ahora del error que cometio hace un par de años, con lo que creo que se ha ganado a pulso el titulo de la 'respuesta inglesa a Beyonce' como la llaman aqui.
Leona Lewis has released before schedule her cover to Snow Patrol's 'Run' for download. And just with that she is the new number 1 in the UK charts this week. This is a slow song that will give you more and more goosebumps as it plays along. Her voice in it sounds gorgeous and the cover is spot on. Definitely worth a listen even if you haven't been so much into her music before. This girls is in a class of her own. See the video below.
Leona Lewis ha sacado al mercado su version del tema 'Run' del grupo Snow Patrol para descarga antes de lo previsto debido a masiva demanda del publico. Como resultado ha conseguido el numero 1 en la lista de exitos del Reino Unido. Esta es una cacnion lenta que te pondra la piel de gallina mas y mas segun suena la cancion. Su voz suena fantastica en esta cancion y la version es perfecta. Definitivamente vale la pena escucharla aunque no haya sido de vuetro gusto su repertorio anterior. Esta chica esta a otro nivel de otro artista jovenes de hoy en dia. Ver el video de esta cancion mas abajo.
After her succesful come back single 'Womanizer', Britney Spears is releasing 'Circus' as her second single from the album of the same name. And from my humble opinion, this is the best song in the album. A Britney all round song with another killer video to boot. This really makes people believe Britney csn eventually recover completely and bring a great show next summer to the UK. She's still a few light years from where she was when she was on top of her game, but this is at least something to get very excited about for whoever liked Britney before. Fun, upbeat and pop. It's Britney b**ch and she's back!
Despues de sacar con exito su primer sencillo 'Womanizer' y llegar al numero uno en USA, Britney saca su segundo sencillo 'Circus' del album del mismo nombre. Y en mi humilde opinion, esta es la mejor cancion del disco. Una cancion al estilo Britney puro y duro con un un video fantastico a juego. Esto realemente anima a la gente a la que le gusto Britney Spears en algun momento y nos hace creer que se puede recuperar por completo, aunque aun esta a unos pocos años luz de su mejor forma. Pero al menos es un fantastico punto de partida que nos prepara para la visita el proximo verano de sus 8 conciertos en el Reino Unido. Britney b**ch esta de vuelta!
Pink is releasing 'Sober' as her second single from her album 'Funhouse'. The song is one of the best in fact. The album itself it's not bad, but boy it's is heartbreak and depressing all in all. If you just got out of a relationship that is the perfect choice for you to listen, but if you look for an upbeat album just give it a miss. I still prefer her previous effort, which I think was her best whatever people say. However, this is Pink we are talking about, so indifference is not an option. Just check out shit video and you will see why. Funny she released 'Sober' as her second single, when she seems she had a couple of drinks in her latest appearences, especially in the 'Divas II' program shown in the UK not that long ago... Rather a disappointment she was the only one of all not to join the rest at the end of the program... But hey, that was a Divas program I guess, so nevermind. Let the girl have fun.
Pues como era de esperar, Pink saca al mercado 'Sober' como su segundo sencillo de su disco 'Funhouse'. La cancion es una de las mejores del disco de hecho. El album en si no esta nada mal, pero es superdepresivo. Si acabas de romper con alguin este es el disco que quieres escuchar, pero si buscas algo mas alegre quizas prefieras pasar de este. Yo aun me quedo con su disco anterior, que digan lo que digan, para mi fue su mejor trabajo. Sin embargo, Pink es de quien estamos hablando en este caso y ignorarla no es una de tus opciones. Simplemente mirate el video y veras porque. Sorprendente que saque una cancion llamada sobria, especialmene despues de que en un par de actuaciones hechas hace poco hubiera parecido que se hubiera tomado un par de copas... En fin, que le quiten lo bailado si pueden.
